He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Richardson and Tinia Belle Richardson (Brown); his siblings, Russell Richardson of Ralph Richardson, A. G. and Velda Smith; and his stepson Michael Dale Merriman.
He is survived by: his wife Louella Clair Ellis; his children, Bradley Carl Richardson, Carlin Brett Richardson, Shelly Rae Fuller, Josh Ethan Richardson, Randy Leon Merriman and LaDonna Gayle; his sister Oletta Joyce Matthews; and also Janice. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
