He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Edward and Geneva Maxine Byrom (Widener); his wife Vonda; his sons, David Cordle (Christina) of Cleveland, Matthew Cordle (Ashley) of Broken Arrow and James Byrom, Jr. (Brittany) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Caden, Tanner, Elyse, Alycyn, Alexys and James.
