He was predeceased by : his parents, Delton Mefferd and Sallie Mefferd; his siblings, George, Jimmy, Joe, Charlie, Leo, Little Richard, Alfie May, Lanore and Mary Lou Mefferd; and his daughter Debbie Mefferd.
He is survived by : his children, Linda Wortham (Danny), Judy Payton (Allen) and Robert Mefferd; his grandchildren, Anita, Russell, Stephanie, Carol, Jon, Misti, Damon, Vanessa, Karis, Travis and Cassie; and his siblings, Loyd, Larry, DJ, Thule and Birdie. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, cousins.
