He is survived by : his wife Margaret "Lea" Slayter; his children, Michelle Hyatt, Richard Slayter Jr. and Ronnie Bashant; and his grandchildren, Shawn, Amber, Brandi and Brittany. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
