He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Thomas Goodwin and Elsie Mae Goodwin (Fox); his children, Arlan Kent and Christie Ann Goodwin; and his brothers, Fred Goodwin, Gerald Lee Goodwin and Jack Goodwin.

He is survived by : his wife Roberta Berlene Goodwin; his daughter Leslie Justice (Jonathan) of Manford, Oklahoma; his brother Ed Goodwin (Annette) of Farmington; and his granddaughters, Chloe Ann Kent, Victoria Justice and Isabella Justice.
