It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Rebecca (Cook) Ballard in Duncan, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett T. Cook and Evie Cook (H. O. Ballard); her sister Imergean Robinson; and her son-in-law Cliff Mengers. She is survived by: her spouse H. O. Ballard; her children, Pagon Ballard (Kathy), Aletha Hudson (Brad), Rebecca Elam (Alan McDaniel) and Regina Mengers; her grandchildren, Billie (Lamar Powers), Geralyn (David Epstein), Sarah (Robert Vazquez), Diane (Howard Boss) and Katrina (Nezih Hasanoglu); her great grandchildren, Noah, Andy Hudson, Mason Powers, Aubrey, Emily Boss, Robby Vazquez, Don, Rafael Epstein, Nezih, Cruz Hasanoglu, Brooklyn, Oliver, Jais, Brynlynn and Avalei Mengers; and her grandsons, Cheyenne Mengers, Scotty Hudson, Robert Vazquez, Howard Boss, David Epstein and Lamar Powers. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Service (415 W Main St, Marlow, OK 73055). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
