She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackie Royce and Pairlee Isabel Reddell (Green); and her stepdaughter Holly Chenault. She is survived by: her children, Tara Hackney-Campbell (Milo) of Duncan, Oklahoma and Randy Chenault (Sara) of Granbury, Texas; her stepson Peter Chenault (Jennifer) of San Angelo, Texas; her grandchildren, Taylor Chenault (Sabrina), Rileigh Hackney, Nicholas Hackney, Erin Chenault, Blake Connolly and Cole Chenault; her sister Mary English (Randy) of Poolville, Texas; and her former husband Patrick Chenault. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name as Betty and family support this organization in honor of her own mother.
