He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence C. Young and Geneva Young (Williams); his son Steven Young; and his siblings, Pete Young, Curtis Young, Don Young and Laura Sue James.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Jean Vowell; his daughter Debra (Larry Foster); his grandchildren, Casey (Heather Foster), Jason (Cristina Foster) and Steven L. Young; his great grandchildren, Blayden, Bailey, Kaylee, Kaitlin, Allie and Colt; and also Jonnie Jones.
