He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Dan Slifer (Loretta), Rick Slifer (Paula) and Suwanna Riley (Gilbert); his sister Mary Beldon (Bill); his grandchildren, Pam Hays (Jeff), Sarah Clark (James), Seth Slifer (Katherine) and Dana Royer (Chris); his stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Burns, Valerie Collins and Marjorie Collins; his great grandchildren, Henry, Charlie Clark and Carl Royer; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Maddie Faison, Clayton Warren (Elizabeth), Gage Burns, Jacinda Burns, Gavyn Collins, Riley Rockow, Gabrell Greene, Jonathan Greene, Camron Greene, Damien Thomas (Kimberly), Mary Collins, Sean Duns and Alexis Duns.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Christian Church to the Carl & Evelyn Slifer Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit the youth as needed.
