It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Slifer of Duncan, Oklahoma, born in Beecher City, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arnold A. Smith and Cora May Smith (Patton); her husband Carl Slifer; her son Dan; her grandchildren, Pam Hays (Slifer), Sarah Clark (Slifer), Seth Slifer and Dana Royer (Slifer); her sons, Danny Slifer (Loretta) and Rick Slifer (Paula); and her daughter-in-law Suwanna Riley (Gilbert). She was also cherished by her four grandchildren, her four great grandchildren, and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
