With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Marlar in Duncan, Oklahoma, born in Overton, Texas, who passed away on July 30, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklyn Marlar (Bob) and Viola Annamay Marlar (Kindy); and his brother Donald B. Marlar. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Sue Marlar (Hoyler); his children, Gerald Loyd Marlar, Jr. (Jerry) of Duncan, OK and Krista Yadon (Trent Yadon) of Woodward, OK; his grandchildren, Sarah Reed (Marlar) of Marlow, Nathan Marlar of Duncan, LeAnn Alland (Patrick Alland) of Fort Worth, TX, William Yadon of Woodward and Natalie Yadon of Woodward; his great grandchildren, Jenika and Jewlissa Reed of Lawton; his sister-in-law Lynn Samples (Hoyler) of Edmond; and his siblings, Bobby Marlar (Gloria) of Pampa, TX and Geraldine Shirley (Gene) of Belleville, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
