He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Morris and Thelma Pearl Ferrell (Wright); his sons, David Allan Ferrell and Harold Curtis Ferrell Jr.; and his siblings, Donald Morris Ferrell, Ralph Paul Ferrell and Shirley Druelle.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Jo Jones; his granddaughter Sarah (John Padilla) of Arlington, TX; his great grandchildren, Taylor Nicole, Joshua and Emma Jo Padilla; and his siblings, Jack Benny (Joan Ferrell) of Chattanooga, TN, James Edwin (Linda Ferrell) of Huntsville, TX, Thomas Glenn (Vessie Ferrell) of Spring, TX, Billie Pearl McCollum of Grove, TX, Barbara Fay Bragg of Shelbyville, TX and Wanda Gail (Richard Beall) of Fair Hope, AL..
