He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Horinek and Lucille Horinek; his siblings, Teresa Horinek and Dennis Horinek; and his son Joshua Horinek.

He is survived by: his wife Jeri Horinek; his sons, Jon and Jim; his granddaughter Luna; and his siblings, Gary, Chris and Peggy.
