He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Laveritis and Anna Lou Mitchell (Spurgeon); and his brothers, Donald Mitchell and Tommy Mitchell. He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Lou Gordon; his wife Peggie; his children, Fred (Tina Mitchell) of Vernal, Utah, Jerry Jr. (Shelley Mitchell) of Marlow, Justin Brammer of Duncan and John (Mary Brammer) of Weatherford, Texas; his grandchildren, Ethan Mitchell, Jesse Mitchell, Colt Mitchell, Ryder Mitchell, Rylan (Maddie Brammer), Kaylee Brammer, Jack Brammer and Jonah Brammer; and his sister Janis Schultz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
