Lyndel Strain Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 87, Lyndel Strain (Duncan, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Byington and Reta Hampton Strain (Reeder); and his wife Dorothy Lee Ohl. He is survived by: his children, Jenny Lynn (David Jamin) of Duncan, Michael Todd (Kay Lyn Strain) of Claremore, Andrew Mark (Staci LaDawn Strain) and Ricky Payne Strain of Ada; his grandchildren, Nikki Bunn Jones of Norman, Bill Bunn III of Duncan, Kendall Strain of Claremore, Jared Strain of Tulsa and Rick Strain II of Duncan; his great grandchildren, Lauren McDaniel of Dallas, TX, Laney McDaniel of Norman, Bill Bunn IV of Duncan and Wyatt Payne of Duncan; his sister Delores Ann (Donald Spivey) of Marlow; and his sibling's children, Donald Kent Spivey, LaDawna Ann Spivey Baker and Ira Keith Spivey.

There are no funeral services scheduled at this time due to COVID-19.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Center of Duncan.
