He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Matthew Duren and Mamie Delcina Eppinette Duren; and his wife Frankie. He is survived by: his stepsiblings, Hubert Gunter, Harold Gunter, Francis Gunter and Estelle Gunter (Mize); his friends, James and Joy Davis; his sons, Barry Duren (Tanya) of Duncan and Brad Duren (Melissa) of Goodwell, OK.; and his grandsons, Joseph Tyler Randolph of Oklahoma City, Ross Duren (Elizabeth) of Oklahoma City, Benjamin and Joe Duren of Guymon.
