She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshal Carter and Lenetta Carter (Derrick); her children, Darren James and Dessirree Williams; and her great grandchild Camila James.
She is survived by: her son Clay James (Tanja) of Duncan, Oklahoma; her brother Carl Carter (Jean) of Grand Prairie; her grandchildren, Corey James (Angelica) of Duncan, Wyndford Williams, Jr., Seth Williams, Delaina Williams of Richmond, Erin Jackson of Dallas and Allana Jackson of San Antonio; and her great grandchildren, Cameron and Luna James of Duncan.
