She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Brown and Marjorie Brown; her sisters, Marjorie Selman of Roebuck, SC and Annabell McBride of Aurora, CO; and her husband Bill Hodges.

She is survived by: her former husband Keith T. Houts; and her daughter Kati Houts (Melanie).
