He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tarver Schlegel; his sister Esther Carter of Orgeon House, CA; his children, Sue Ann Schlegel of Ripley, Jill King of Cushing and John Schlegel (Darien) of Austin, Texas.; his grandchildren, Misti Wall (Steele), Carol Green, Emily Schlegel, Abby Schlegel, Kaitlyn Schlegel and Ryan Schlegel; and his great grandchildren, Payton Overfelt, Raygen Overfelt, Gage Overfelt, Myiah Forte, Nevaeh Green, Eva Green, Lacy Green and Houston Green.
