With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oneda Laverne Grimes of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 4, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Christenberry and Myrtle Christenberry (Townson); and her son David Grimes. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Grimes of Oklahoma City and Denise Caldwell (Art) of Altus; her grandchildren, Anthony, Jayson, Nathen Yeager, Rayden Resendiz, Donte Martin, Kyla Martin, Jerry Yeager and Erin O'Riley; and her siblings, Josy Sill, Alete Richardson, Diane Lynch, Ramona Christenberry, Alberta Christenberry, Arlis Christenberry, Carlos Christenberry and Ernest Christenberry.
