He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Morrison; his son William Franklin "Will" Castor; his daughter-in-law Dorothy "Cookie" Castor; his stepgrandchildren, Bobby Rake (Jenn), Chris Rake (Mandie) and Katie Rake (Eli); his grandchildren, Lindsey Castor and Malachai Rake; his siblings, Roberta Castor, Vicki Waters (Dennis) and Douglas Castor; his brother-in-law Bertil Hanson; his nephews, Jon Hanson (Emily) and Peter Hanson (Cata); and also, Dr. William Albert and Nell Lois "Nellie" Franklin (Baker).
