He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Russell and Frances Russell; his brother LaValle Russell; and his brother-in-law Leroy Elwood Chouteau. He is survived by: his sons, Wendell Russell and Roy Star; his grandchildren, Aliyah Star, Steven Lee Russell and Happy Annalise Russell; and his siblings, Patricia Mousetrail Russell, Harvey Russell Jr., Leanna Mousetrail Russell (Danny Moses Sr), Cliff Mousetrail Russell (Dana), Matthew Mousetrail Russell (Ruthie), Mona Tina Wright, Millie Sue Russell and Marcella Russell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
