With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Vree Walker of Elk City, Oklahoma, born in Cement, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by : her father Willie Pearl Smith (Cobb); her husband Lloyd Purcy Walker; and her brothers, Billy Gene Smith and William Carol Smith. She is survived by : her sons, Purcy Dale Walker (Tonya) of Elk City and David Carol Walker of Elk City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Brandon Walker (Missy) of Plano, Crystal Burton (Russell) of Elk City, Candace Jones (Joe) of Rush Springs, Andy Walker of Nichols Hill, Daniel Walker (Lacy) of Edmond and Kim Vincent (Clint) of Norman, Oklahoma; her great grandchildren, Lauren Walker, Blake Walker, Caylin Burton, Reece Burton, Jace Jones (Sydney), Cade Jones, Ethan Walker, Adriauna Walker, Addy Vincent, Xander Vincent, Kelton Hagerman, Kelby Hagerman, Keegan Hagerman and Kameron Hagerman; her sisters, Cheryll Flow of Oklahoma City and Kay Cagle of Oklahoma City; and also Kevin Akins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home - Elk City (600 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (2701 S Randall Ave, Elk City, OK 73644).
