He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Jesse Lee Thompson (Allen); and his siblings, Altie, Augusteen, Rosamay, Pauline, Martha, Christine, Lonnie, Wesley and Leslie.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Thompson of Elk City, Oklahoma; his children, Owen Otto Thompson Jr. (Lisa), Ricky Thompson, Joanna Norton (Mark) and Rosa Burns (Eddie); his grandchildren, Shaylene Menge (Gary), Shelby Thompson, Chelsea Medina (Charlie), Janel Spitz (Michael), Candy Sockwell (Blake), Emily Johnson (Kyle), Maura Kendall, Scott, Skyler Norton, Miranda Snodgrass, Jennifer Shield (Bart), Jon Burns and Bailey Hughey; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Charles, Zoey Medina, Bella Eden, Katie Spitz, Natalia Sockwell, Scarlett, Leland Kendall, Haley Martin, Leah, Landon Burns, Logan, Ainsley Shields and Sydney Shields; and his great great grandchildren, Brooklynn Medina and Finley Quarles. He is also survived by his family and friends.
