With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosetta F. Brown in Elk City, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 107. Though Rosetta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosetta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert A. Brown (Bob); her granddaughter Tiffany Gunther; and her son-in-law Don Harrel. She is survived by: her children, James Allen Brown (Jim) of Elk City and Landa Harrel of Owasso; and her granddaughters, Robin Murphy, Christy Lister of Elk City and Donia Ledford of Talala. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Home (410 Cole Ave, Fletcher, OK 73541). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fletcher Cemetery (14429 North Dr, Fletcher, OK 73541).
