She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester "Dutch" Wilbur and Dorthy "Dode" Catherine Ewan (McClelland); her husband J. B. Payton; and her siblings, LeRoy "Bud" Ewan, Charles "Chuck" Ewan, Raymond Ewan, Milton Ewan and Patricia "Ann" Moore.
She is survived by : her children, Bert Payton (Victoria) of Quapaw, OK and Phyllis Marie Payton of Miami, OK; her siblings, Jim Ewan of Parsons, KS, Richard Ewan of McCune, KS, Bill Ewan of Diamond, MO, Merle Ewan of St. Paul, KS, Wanda Madl of Pittsburg, KS, Mary "Sally" Gress of Cincinnati, OH and Marilyn Willis of Omaha, NE; and her grandchildren, Tracy Forinash, Shawn Payton, Tyan Heilaman, Travis Burki, Dustin Pittman, Jamie Pittman, Brian Arnall and Erin Barnes. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and several great – great grandchildren.
