We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Reed of Faxon, Oklahoma, born in Coalgate, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Lola Reed (Wright) of Virginia; his wife Effie Reed; and his siblings, Buford Reed, Louise Moeller, Dorotha Hampton, Eva Woods and Leona Pasquali.
He is survived by: his daughters, Virginia Lacy (Jerry) of Faxon, Oklahoma and Lesa Williams (Larry) of Faxon, Oklahoma; his siblings, Doyal Reed (Wilma) of Sherman, Texas and Mildred Shoopman of Lawton, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Amanda Grimes (Brent), April Huitt (Robert), Larry Reed Williams and Ryan Thomas Williams (Krystal); and his great grandchildren, Gage Grimes, Lacy Grimes, Weston Huitt, Trace Huitt, Kord Williams and Harley Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Faxon from 5:00 p. m. until 7:00 p. m. ** Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, masks and social distancing are recommended at the church and graveside service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 215 S. 7th Street, Faxon, Oklahoma 73540, in memory of Thomas "Junior" Reed.
