She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Hennessee and Sylvia "Peachy" Hennessee (Prettyman); her children, Tommy E. Monroe and Paula M. Hicks; her son-in-law Greg W. Hicks; and her parents-in-law, Verna Monroe and Clarence.
She is survived by : her husband Thomas G. Monroe; her daughters, Connie Ledford (Greg) of Cement and Angie Rowe (Jimmy) of Dickson; and her sister Nancy King of Lawton Oklahoma. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
