It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lee Yandell of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Thompson; his sons, Mark Yandell (Kristina) of Wilmington, NC and Chase Thompson of Tulsa, OK; his siblings, Bonnie Rogers (Gary) of Muskogee, OK and Danny Ray Yandell (Angel); his grandchildren, Avery and Jackson Yandell of Wilmington, NC; his nephews, Chris Rogers (Denise) of Fort Gibson, OK, Danny Cook (Shawn) of Vian, OK and Jeremy Yandell (Amanda); his great-nephew Jonas of Los Angeles, CA; his niece Erin Yandell of St. Louis, MO; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Cochran (Tom) of Sapulpa, OK, Phyllis Elkins of Sapulpa, OK, Donna Tackett of Muskogee, OK and Mary Ashwood (Joe) of Muskogee, OK; and his close friend Steve Core.
