He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Jenny; his aunt Stella; his wife Virginia Rush; his parents, Joann Gooddale (Grimm) and Clyde Clark; his grandparents, Roy and Jeannie Grimm; his siblings, Clydene Clark Brunson and Jay; his daughter Peggy McDowell; his granddaughter Tammy Miller; his sister Jennie Clark Johnson; and also Homer Gooddale. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and friends.
