She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Lester Kilpatrick and Ruby Adele Kilpatrick. She is survived by : her stepmother Dorothy Kilpatrick; her former life partner Russell C. Hightower; her husband Wesley H. Medlin, Jr.; her children, Lonny G. Hightower (Diane), Joy L. Paroda (Jay), Tina M. Steinson (Eric) and Kevin L. Hightower (Megan); her stepchildren, Wayne H. Medlin, Debra J. Medlin, Steven A. Medlin, Pamella A. Gilbert and Warren D. Medlin; and her son Wesley K. Hightower. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
