The memory of Trecyl June Scherler of Grandfield, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Scherler; her parents, James Daugherty and Vivian "Sam" Daugherty; her siblings, James Daugherty Jr., Dorothy Maitlin and Jerry Daugherty; her children, June Cromwell and Doug Scherler; and her grandson Cade Cromwell.
She is survived by: her son Stanley; her children-in-law, Kimberlie Scherler, Roger Cromwell and Michelle Scherler; her sister-in-law Beth Barnhart; her grandchildren, Charisa Winfrey (Steve), Jeremy Scherler (Joey), Holly McKinney (Clay), Ryan Scherler (Emily), Summer Thiele (Rob), Jill Scherler, Kacie Scherler-Abney (Zach), Taylor Scherler (Donalynn), Sydney Reeves (Ross) and Violet Scherler; her great grandchildren, Mallory, Oliver Winfrey, Jorja, Jewel Scherler, Avery Cromwell, Logan, Keaton, Cooper McKinney, Jocelyn, Finnegan, Piper Scherler, Roger Thiele, Jamison, Annamarie Scherler, Sylvie Jo Scherler-Abney and Warren Reeves; and her great great grandchild Harper June Cromwell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home - Walters (202 E Colorado Ave, Walters, OK 73572). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Western Hills Church of Christ (1108 NW 53rd St, Lawton, OK 73505). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Walters Cemetery.
