We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2023, at the age of 95, Ida Lucille Massey (Granite, Oklahoma), born in Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Lee and Ruth Christine Phillips (Campbell); her son Raymond Frederick Massey Jr.; her daughter-in-law Mary Jo Massey (Wolters); and her siblings, Wilson, Jack, Sam Phillips, Mildred Owens, Grace Malear, Mary McCuddy, Ruth Power, Virginia Wasung, Faye Richardson and Lillian Stinnett.
She is survived by : her friend Ray; her sister Patricia Wilmoth (Mirl) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her children, Cynthia Ann Massey of Oklahoma City, Suzan Ermel Phillips (Tom) of Edmond, Mary Kathleen Faughn (Tony) of Granite, Oklahoma and Timothy Carroll Massey (Cindy) of Franklin, Tennessee; her grandchildren, John Edward Wall, Raymond Phillip Massey (Olinda), Brad Arron Dakota Massey (Sarah), Christopher Lee Massey (Jenn), Zachary Alexander Faughn (Kaitlyn), Melanie Nicole Baines (Ray) and Morgan Caroline Carroll (JoDan); and her stepgrandchildren, Tom Phillips, Nathaniel Phillips, John Martin and Amanda Martin. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and 1. 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Memorials for Lucille can be made to the Granite Educational Enrichment Foundation to be designated for student history, reading, and arts education.
