He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Goodman and Eveline Cyr Goodman; his siblings, Linda and Allen; and his son Timothy.

He is survived by : his wife Penny Gunn Goodman of Guthrie; his children, Jeff Goodman (Beth) and Leah Goodman (family: Michelle); and his siblings, Julie Goodman, Edward Goodman (Joan), Chris Goodman, Cindy Bernal, Elizabeth Amerson (Terry), Larry Goodman (Rhonda), Bridget Roman, Abigail Goodman and Anna Goodman-Brough (Joe). He is also survived by his granddaughters and great grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation in his name to honor John's legacy.
