She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hopson and Hazel Hopson (Jordan); her former husband Ivan Evans, Sr.; her grandparents, L. W. Brown and Edna Smith; and her brothers, Winfred Kidd, Willie Hopson, Jr. and Tom Hopson.
She is survived by: her husband William Claxton; her children, Ivan E. Evans, Jr. of Hartshorne, Vickie L. Walker of Tulsa and Beverly A. Henderson of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Darrell Walker of John Walker, III, Daniel Henderson, Richard Henderson, Angel Henderson and Ryan Messel; her brother Ernest Hopson; her cousin Robert Mardis, Jr.; and her sons-in-law, Raymond Henderson and John Walker. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
