He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parker and Viola Parker (Taylor); and his brothers, Kenneth Parker, Jackie Parker and Tony Parker.

He is survived by: his children, James Edward Parker (Amanda) of Haskell, John Parker of Tulsa, Crystal Parker of Tulsa, Tamara Parker (Josh Duckworth) of Claremore, Danny Parker (Laura) of Tulsa and Viola Parker (James) of Tulsa; and his siblings, Freda DeWoody-Tallon (Eddie) of Haskell and James "Pete" Booth (Deloris) of Bixby.
