She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Standridge and Myrtle Standridge (Casey); and her siblings, Anna Lou Denny, Bettie Arnold-Reynolds and Wayne Standridge.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Vickers; her sons, Michael Vickers (Cindy) of Damascus and Todd Vickers of Heavener; her grandchildren, Haleigh Bramlett (Carson) of Greenbrier, Lakota Vickers of Norman, Jastyn Vickers, Sada Vickers of Fort Smith and Jacob Vickers of Fort Smith, Arkansas.; and her great grandchild Georgia Bramlett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Heavener First Baptist Church (200 W Ave I, Heavener, OK 74937). A reception was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the 20th Century Club of Little Rock – Hope Away From Home (20th Century Home provides free lodging and meals to patients undergoing Multiple Myeloma Cancer treatments) in memory of Garlena Vickers.
