She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Harold Homer Reddick and Marie Ella Mogg; her former life partner James Alvin Brown (Jim); her husband John Rufus Strange; her stepchildren, Dan, Shirley Brown of Heyworth, Annette, Danny Moss of Hobart, Marion Brown of Hoboken, Jana Strange, Corbun Babel of Lone Wolf, Jill, Pat Fite of Hobart, John Strange of Oklahoma City and Jeri Strange of Plainview; and her sister-in-law Beth Brown of Marlow. She was also cherished by 13 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren 2 Cousins 5 Nieces, 6 Nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Hobart, Oklahoma where Doris was an active member for nearly five decades.
