She was predeceased by : her parents, Travis Phy and Leatrice Phy (Bouggous); her siblings, Donald Ray Phy and Norma Lee Skaggs; and her grandson Dallan Welch.

She is survived by : her husband Ralph Bufkin; her children, Barry Bessinger (Dana) of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Nora Welch (Kent) of Hobart, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Dustin Welch (Angela), Travis Bessinger, Jay Bessinger (Natalie) and Amber Tepe (Jerry Paul); and her great grandchildren, Jerra Jo Tepe, Mason Tepe, Levan Tepe, Peyton Welch, Landyn Welch, Ashlyn Welch, Kamden Bessinger, Braylee Welch, Samuel Bessinger and Baby Boy Bessinger.
