He was predeceased by : his father Richard Floyd Shriner Jr. M. D.; and his sister Jacquelyn Shriner Galgano. He is survived by : his mother Jimmie Nelle Peters; his siblings, James Scott Shriner and Deanna Shriner Cushing; and his wife Sandra Thomas Shriner. He is also survived by 3 children ~ 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Rick continued to love playing golf and participated in numerous charity tournaments.
