It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Lee Itson (Holdenville, Oklahoma), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fred Freeman and Avie Freeman (Akin); her former husband William Ray Bane (Charles Raymond Itson); and her brother Billy Joe Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Danny Bane (Marcia) of Hartshorne and Helen Marie Boyd of Holdenville; her grandchildren, Robert Boyd (Lisa) of Sasakwa, Darrell Boyd (Michelle) of Gerty, Christine Crook of Perrin, TX and Brandon Beck (Amisty) of Holdenville; and her brother Charles "Sonny" Freeman of Delaware, OK.. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Holdenville, OK 74848). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Little Cemetery (11522 OK-99, Seminole, OK 74868).
