She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira J. Blackburn and Agnes Blackburn (Gardner); her siblings, Zelda Morris (Carl), Alene Borders (R. C.), Anna Lou Hays (Odell), Janet Treat, Peggy Merriman (Harold), Boyce Blackburn, Glenn Blackburn and David Blackburn (Jane); her grandson Tyler Merriman; and her brother-in-law John Osmond.
She is survived by: her husband J. C. Merriman; her children, Connie Bryan (Jim) of Ada, OK, Randy Merriman (Connie) of Holdenville, OK, Lisa Ewing (David) of Glenpool, OK and Shawna Thompson (Darren) of Bethel, OK.; her grandchildren, Laura Merriman of Oklahoma City, OK, Abbey Clayton (Cooper) of Claremore, OK and Colby Thompson of Edmond, OK; and her sister Sue Osmond of Tulsa, OK..
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Holdenville, OK 74848). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the East Main Church of Christ (501 E Main St, Holdenville, OK 74848).
