He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Ronald; and his nephew R. J. VanZant. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Jean Balentine (Young) of Hominy; his wife Bonnie; his children, Waylon Stokes (Alicia) and Melissa Silkey (Charles) of Hominy; his grandchildren, Sabrina Diaz, Emily Miller, Sarah Stokes and Frank Stokes (Festus); his great grandchildren, Blaine Miller and Theo Brunt; his nieces, Brye Branum and Jamie Valois; and his grandparents, Dean and Nora Estes of Cleveland.
