He was predeceased by: his parents, Greene McKinney and Ensie McKinney (Tonihka); his former wife Nora Colbert McKinney; his wife Lucy Ludlow McKinney; his daughters, Lorena McKinney and Carol McKinney Ishcomer; his grandson Blaine McKinney; and his sisters, Isnie Ortiz and Nancy Tushka Mabel McKinney.
He is survived by: his children, Gary McKinney (Teresa) of Broken Bow, Jerry McKinney (Myra) of Smithville, OK, Larry McKinney (Regina) of Warm Springs, OR, Carrie Ward (Andy) of Broken Bow and Pam McKinney of Broken Bow; and his brother Jackson McKinney of Broken Bow. He is also survived by twenty six grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; fifty-nine great, great-grandchildren; many other family and friends.
