It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sue Vavonese (Hugo, Oklahoma), born in Soper, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud A. Harlin and Amanda Harlin (James); her husband Gaetano "Don" Vavonese; and her grandsons, Donnie Wayne Vinson, Jr. and Neco Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Acquanetta Davenport of Mounds, OK, Carmelita Summers of Hugo, OK, Patty Patton of Bixby, OK, Tammy Walters of Hugo, OK, Robert Harlin of Okmulgee, OK, Phillip Harlin of Hugo, OK and Clovis Ward of Hugo, OK; and her brother John E.. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; along with a host of other friends.
