He is survived by : his wife Donna Rae Murphy; his child Carl Jennings Murphy Jr of Kansas City, KS; his grandchildren, Natasha Oglesby, Jacque Rodriguez (Jake) and Sonja; his husband Robert; and his great grandchildren, Tucker Oglesby, Alex Rodriguez, Catlin Rodriguez, Gunner Murphy and Avery Murphy.
