It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Lea Schmidt (Hydro, Oklahoma), born in Altus, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 27, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse LeRoy Schmidt; her son Robert Michael; and her stepdaughter Brenda Smith. She is survived by: her children, David Wing (Heather) of Jenks, Nancy Crissman (Earl) of Weatherford and Leslie Hopper (Jimmy) of Ardmore; her stepdaughter Patricia Barber (Preston) of Oklahoma City; and her siblings, Floyd Kastner (Jan) of Altus, Deryl Kastner (Betty) of Noble, Jimmy Kastner of Chicago, Helen Herman (Robert) of Yukon, Rita Shelby of Hollis and Joyce Secrest (Dave) of Altus. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
