It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvie Hooks (Idabel, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 13, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Restee Sr. and Ola Mae Hooks; his wife Georgia M. Hooks; and his daughter Deborah Ann Hooks. He is survived by: his children, Mae Howard and Willie T. Howard; and his siblings, Restee Hooks Jr., John Hooks, Curtis Hooks, Edmond Hooks, Roger Hooks, David Hooks, Leola Wright, Loretta Sheffey and Willie B. Thomas. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; numerous, nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
