He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Herrod; and his brother Michael Herrod. He is survived by: his mother Lea Herrod of Idabel; his children, Aleah Herrod of Idabel, Sheldon Herrod Jr of Idabel, Jasiah Herrod of Idabel, Kaylem Herrod of Idabel and Noah Herrod of Idabel; his siblings, Jessica Hendricks (Vincent) of Dallas, Texas, Stella Amy of Houston, Texas, Denise Robinson of Houston, Texas, Caroline Carter of Houston, Texas, Vera O'Neal (Walter) of Utah, Regina Herrod of Newton, Charlotte Potter of Cincinnati, Chayda Hammond of Dallas, Jessica Alberty of Idabel, Kelvin Herrod of Rialto, California, Kenneth Herrod and Clarence Herrod of Newton; his aunt Patricia Herrod of San Bernardino; and his wife Crystal "Cooper" Herrod of Dallas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and a host of many, many friends.
