It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lee Payton (Jay, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmett Crawford and Inez Crawford (Jones); her brother Billy Cecil Crawford; and her sister-in-law Lynda Dalrymple. She is survived by : her husband Ross Payton; her children, Teri Davenport (Wes) of Jay, OK and Brandon Payton of Jay, OK; her grandchildren, John, Anna Davenport, Karlee and Madison Payton; her siblings, Melvin Crawford (Donna) of Jay, OK, Bertha Faye Story of Jay, OK, Wayne Crawford (Saundra) of Grove, OK, Dick Crawford (Sharon) of Grove, OK, Ava Jo Smith (Warren) of Canon City, CO, Gary Crawford (Cathy) of Grove, OK, John Crawford (Cheryl) of Wyandotte, OK and Cheryl Crawford of Derby, KS; and her sisters-in-law, Carmaleta Hamby (Glen) of Colcord, OK and Judy Larmon (Don) of Jay, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that she was very proud of and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
